While leaving Gana Bhavan after the meeting, Roshan Irshad also spoke to the media. Responding to a question regarding his support to the current JPA leadership, he said, “They deliberately removed us. Why would we support them?”
At one stage of his speech, opposition chief whip in Parliament Mashiur Rahman Ranga told reporters that Roshan was in no position to face the media and another leader, Qazi Mamunur Rashid, would soon brief the media.
Later Qazi Manunoor informed the media about the written statement of Roshan Irshad.
