Rule against the decision of admission into medical colleges without test

High court has issued a rule against the government saying why the decision of conducting admission based on HSC and SSC results will not be declared as illegal.

Health secretary, education secretary and DG health are asked to answer the rule within 4 weeks.

Advocate Unus Ali Akanth made a writ petition challenging the legality of the decision of admitting students into medical colleges based on HSC and SSC results. After hearing the rule has been issued. Attorney general Mahbub-e-Alam was on the government side.

He said that there had been no notification.

The court said that the rule will be null and void if no notification had been made.

Advocate Unus Ali Akanth said there are ten educational boards and a Madrasa board. Each one is different from one another in the evaluation process
