Russia’s foreign ministry said on Thursday it had struck a deal with US basketball star Brittany Griner for Russian citizen Viktor Bout in a prisoner exchange.
Russian news agencies reported that the exchange of Viktor Bout with Griner took place at Abu Dhabi airport on 8 December.
