Sachin Tendulkar retires from one day cricket

Dn-sachin-tendulkarMaster batsman Sachin Tendulkar also known as little master because of his height has decided to retire from one day cricket. Now he is thirty nine years old and will continue to play test matches.

Sachin Tendulkar was debuted at the age of 16 in Bangladesh against Pakistan at Asia cup. Coincidently his last one day match was also in Bangladesh against Pakistan. He scored fifty in that match.

In his twenty three year long career Sachin Tendulkar played 463 matches, scored 18,246 runs with 49 centuries and 96 half centuries. He also has 154 wickets under his belt. He is the first batsman to score double century in one day match. Cricket experts say, not only Indian cricket, world cricket will also miss him. His records will be very difficult to break.

Many of today’s cricketers are criticized for their arrogance but Sachin was always praised for his politeness.
