Imran Ahmed came into limelight when he told the media in the High Court premises on Monday that Dr. Muhammad Yunus is a respectable person and his honor is being disregarded through judicial harassment.
He also revealed that the Attorney General’s Office was preparing a statement condemning the call for world leaders to stop the harassment of Dr. Yunus, and that he would not be signing the statement.
He was sacked from the post on Thursday. The Law Ministry issued a notification in this regard, stating that the dismissal has been made as per the order issued by the President.
