Police Inspector BM Farman Ali joined Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in 2013 as office in-charge (OC) at Motijheel police station. He was later transferred from Motijheel to Banani police station as OC. Later he was made OC of the airport police station of the capital. And last year this police officer was transferred as OC at Gulshan police station. In the last 10 years he has held various positions in DMP.
Before the 11th parliamentary elections in 2018, Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman was made OC at Khilkhet police station. Later he was transferred to Mirpur Model Police Station, he is now in charge of Wari Police Station of DMP.
