Samsung planning to compete with Moto E with its low-budget Android phone

After Motorola had a holiday season-like sale of its budget Android Moto E on Flipkart, Samsung is all ready to follow suit and launch its very own budget phone. Samsung is all set to compete with this new category of highly powered low budget android phone.

According to the the, Samsung plans to launch a budget phone in India. The South Korean company’s Swedish support page shows a budget device with model number SM-G350E. The page has listed has three variants of the device – SM-G357M, SM-G357F and SM-G350E (dual-SIM).

According to the associated press, the GFX Bench result leaked some specifications of the Samsung SM-G357F which revealed that the phone will house Android 4.4 KitKat with a 4.3 inch 480X800 pixels display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to come with an 8GB built-in storage capacity, 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The other features include accelerometer, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options that have now become regulars in most Android phones.

If the rumours surrounding the budget phone are to be believed, we can expect the Samsung SM-G357F to come with specifications identical to the SM-G350E (dual-SIM).
