A school girl of class nine of Khidirpur Upazila was abused and her embarrassing video was shot and posted on the internet by four youths. This incident took place at Mnonohordi of Norshingdi district.
Locals were angered by the news and then local police arrested four youths, Ruman Mian son of Khoka Mian, Shohagh son of Abdur Rahman, Shohagh Sheikh son of Sattar Sheikh and Sujan son of Anwar Hossain. Some reports say, Ruman Mian was the boy friend of the victim, who is a student of class ten. He abused the girl with the help of other three and everyone’s age is between twenty one. School girl’s mother has filed a cased at local thana.
But it is alleged that later police released one of the alleged Shohagh Sheikh after receiving bribe. Police denied the allegation but couldn’t give any explanation that why he was released.
