The schoolgirl Fatema Chayan was hit by a car while she was going to school in the morning at about 7.30 am. She was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Traffic on the road of Shewrapa section of Roquiah Sarani halted as people went on demonstrations protesting reckless driving.
