The sea ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra were advised to lower the signal as Cyclone Mocha completed landfall on Sunday and affected sea ports, North Bay and nearby coastal areas, reported news agency UNB. There is no possibility of stormy weather in the areas.
A bulletin from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said on Tuesday that all fishing boats and trawlers have been advised to stay near the coast and proceed with caution till evening.
