Bangladesh cricket team captain Shakib Al Hasan got Awami League nomination from Magura-1.
AL general secretary Obaidul Qadir announced Shakib’s name while revealing the names of the ruling party’s candidates for the 12th parliamentary election on Sunday.
Shakib sought nomination from the ruling party Dhaka-10, Magura-1 and Magura-2. He submitted the AL nomination form on 21 November.
