Aminul Islam said, “In the copy of the letter I read, the address at the top is ‘International Criminal Tribunal’ and at the bottom it says, ‘Dear ICT’. The first paragraph says, ‘We act on behalf of Sheikh Hasina.’ This clearly shows how immature this letter is, which shows that they do not know how to address it properly.”
He further said, “If it is to be addressed to a judge of the Tribunal, should it be addressed as ‘Dear ICT’ or ‘Honorable Judge’? If it is from a British law firm, they should know this. It appears to be a completely fake letter. Whether it is coming from a fake law firm abroad or from Keraniganj-Jinjira locally, cannot be confirmed.”
