Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday said there is no worry about national and international conspiracies ahead of the next general elections as the countrymen always stand with her party.
“The next elections are round the corner. National and international conspiracies are being hatched keeping the next elections at the centre. But, we have nothing to worry about as the people are always with us with their mandate,” he said.
The Prime Minister was exchanging views with Tungipara Upazila Awami League, its associate and affiliated organizations, local public representatives and civic dignitaries at the Tungipara Upazila AL office on Wednesday morning.
Regarding the repeated attempts on her life, Sheikh Hasina said that they have reached today’s situation after facing bullets and bombs.
He said that Almighty Allah has given a task to every person and protect him till the task is completed.
He said, “Allah is above and my party leaders and workers are on the ground to save. Whenever I am attacked, my party people always protect me.”
