IPLColorful and most lucrative T-20 league Indian Premiere League (IPL) is schedule to be held from 16th April to 1st June. But national election of India is also scheduled to be held during the period. Indian home ministry has informed Indian Cricket Board that they are unable to provide enough security personnel for IPL during the national election. But some cricket stars have already signed with different franchises and those cricketers will not be available later. So, Indian cricket board must arrange IPL in scheduled time. In this situation Indian Cricket Board has decided to arrange first sixteen matches in United Arab Emirates and then they will wait for Indian government whether they can provide security, otherwise they will shift venues to Dhaka. Remaining matches scheduled from 13th May will be held at India. Bangladesh Cricket Board has already assured their Indian counterpart that they are ready to host IPL matches.

IPL was also shifted to South Africa in the year 2009 for the same reason.
