Nine people were missing after a fishing boat capsized off South Korea’s southwest coast on Sunday, officials said, prompting the country’s president to intensify search and rescue efforts.
The Coast Guard said the fishing boat capsized just before midnight on Saturday, with three crew members being picked up by rescuers.
