“It is like a celebration of sorts for the community as well. It’s about to get crazy in the pub.
“I saw the last game in the pub and it was mental. Everyone was together, everyone was supporting the girls, everyone was happy.
The 33-year-old said she had never seen this level of interest in the Australia women’s football team before.
“It’s different now, definitely different,” she said.
“It’s like everybody knows they’re playing, everybody knows who they’re playing against, everybody knows the time, everybody’s involved in the tournament.”
