Police on Friday forcibly cleared protesters from a pro-Gaza protest at Sciences Po in Paris, the country's top political science school.
Officials said that 91 people have been arrested.
Sciences Po's interim administrator Jean Basseres rejected a student demand to investigate the institution's relations with Israeli universities.
Outside nearby Sorbonne University, the Federation of Jewish Students in France set up a “dialogue table” on Friday.
“Jewish students have a place in this conversation,” said comic book artist Joan Safar, invited as a guest speaker.
