Supporting the demands of the 11-party alliance regarding constitutional amendments, Mirza Fakhrul said, “We have said in Parliament that a parliamentary committee has been formed for constitutional amendments, and we have invited them to join it. Let us discuss and make changes in the sections that require changes. However, instead of joining there, they have come out on the streets with 11 parties. Their demands are not supported by the public.”
Urging his party leaders and workers, Mirza Fakhrul concluded, “We must not let despair overcome us. We have never been defeated, and we will never be defeated.”
District BNP President Mirza Faisal Amin, General Secretary Poygam Ali, Vice President Freedom Fighters Noor Karim and Abu Taher and City BNP President Shariful Islam were present on the occasion among others.
