Ace Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan retained the top position in the ICC ODI all-rounders’ rankings on Wednesday.
The former Bangladesh skipper led the table of the top ten all-rounders for ODIs with 415 points, followed by Shane Watson of Australia who had 402 points beside his name.
Mohammed Hafeez of Pakistan was on third position with 346 points while Jaques Kallis of South Africa and Shahid Afridi of Pakistan were in the 5th position and 6th position with 337 and 332 points respectively.
The other five names in the top ten lists were Ryan ten Doeschate of Netherlands, Yuvraj Singh of India, Daniel Vettori and Jacob Oram of New Zealand and Tilakratne Dilshan of Sri Lanka.
Shakib Al Hasan became the first Bangladeshi to rise to the number one spot in any form of the game with bat or ball, when he sneaked above Jacob Oram in January 2009 rankings. The left arm spinner is also in the top ten list of Test bowlers, occupying the number eight spot.
