Later, Bangladeshi exporters signed an agreement with Petraka with the help of the Ministry of Agriculture. These vegetables grown in Bangladesh while maintaining Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are available in every branch of Petracca, Switzerland under that agreement.
Sources in the Agriculture Extension Department, Shariatpur said that various agricultural commodities are grown on 85,000 hectares of land in Shariatpur. However, most of the vegetables are grown in Jazira Upazila.
