8 killed in tanker explosion in Johannesburg
A gas tanker that was trapped under a bridge in Johannesburg exploded on Saturday, killing eight people, injuring several others and damaging nearby buildings, emergency services said. The explosion tore off the roof of the emergency department at Tambo Memorial Hospital, destroyed two homes and several cars, and injured people nearby.
