Tehseen Bahar becomes mayor of Kamila city

Among other candidates, Awami League's Kamilla city unit advisor Noor-ur-Rehman Mahmood got 5,173 votes, while Swachhashbak Dal's former Kamilla city unit president Nizam Uddin got 13,155 votes. The voting rate in the election was 38.82 percent, while the total number of voters was 242,458. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were used at all polling stations.
