Central bank spokesperson Mejball Haque said on Monday that its directors Abul Kalam Azad and Motassem Billah would serve as supervisors at Islami Bank and First Security Bank, respectively. Supervisors shall participate in the meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive and Audit Committees of Sharia-based banks and report to the Central Bank.
