The Fire Service and Civil Defense have announced a campaign against buildings in Dhaka that do not have a fire safety certificate. Brigadier General MD Main Uddin, director general of the fire service, said the operation would begin next week in coordination with the municipal corporations and the capital Unnayan Kartipakkha.
