Boats get stuck at Padma beach as fog halts services on Daulatdia-Paturia route

Dense fog left two boats carrying passengers stranded in the middle of the Padma river, forcing the authorities to suspend services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route. Mohammad Khalid Nawaz, a deputy general manager of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority, said they suspended the services at around 9.30 pm on Saturday due to zero visibility.
