Lucky Das, assistant commissioner (land) of Naria upazila, told Prothom Alo that the joint forces went to a house in Naria municipality after receiving information that Jamaat-e-Islami activists were distributing money for election purposes. On receiving the information she also went there. A list related to distribution of money, a laptop and a hard disk have been recovered from the spot. Taka 720,000 were seized from there.
A government primary school teacher, who was in-charge of a polling booth, was found inside the office. Since he failed to explain why he was there, action was taken against him under the law.
