Earlier, a ship carrying 31,000 tonnes of refined diesel, which arrived on March 26, has already offloaded its cargo and left the port.

Apart from sea routes, around 7,000 tonnes of diesel has already reached the country through pipeline from India’s Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a responsible official of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC), requesting anonymity, told BSS.

However, another consignment arriving from India on March 31 may be delayed by a few days due to official procedures.
