Organizer Adhir Bourir, chief organizer Sanjay Kanta Das expressed solidarity with the workers and addressed the procession.
The speakers involved in the procession said that according to the rules, there was to be a bilateral agreement every two years to increase the wages and other facilities of the workers, but no agreement has been reached in 2021-22.
He said that the tea garden owners did not pay any attention to the demands of the workers.
