Sometimes we get news from the western world that some stock of bullet, bomb or missile is found unexploded and those were kept or dropped in the world war-II.
In Bangladesh we had one of the bloodiest liberation war of history in 1971, sometimes bullets or bombs are also found in many parts of the country.
On 28th July an unexploded mortar shell was found in Jamalpur town while putting an electric pole. That mortar shell was buried there which is thought to be dropped during the liberation war and remained unexploded.
The workers were lucky because it did not explode during their work. Yesterday a team of experts from the army disposed the mortar shell; in fact they exploded in Nauvanga river island of Sadar Upazila.
