CPD Chairman Rahman Shobhan said that Bangladesh is performing better than Sri Lanka and African countries in terms of loan repayment.
“We should think more about how we will repay the foreign debt in the coming days, and how we will increase our export capacity. Increasing exports will ease loan repayment. We need to plan to increase export earnings to Tk 100 billion,'' he said.
CPD Distinguished Fellow Mustafizur Rahman presented the keynote address at the event. He mentioned the challenges faced in meeting development expenditure through internal revenue.
