The visiting European Union (EU) delegation has sought to know whether the International Labor Organization (ILO) is satisfied with the recently amended Labor Act of Bangladesh.
He also discussed some other issues including freedom of expression, meetings and arbitrary arrests during a meeting with the Foreign, Commerce and Labor and Employment Secretaries at the State Guest House, Padma on Wednesday afternoon.
Later, Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen and Labor and Employment Secretary Ehsan-e-Ilahi briefed the media about their meeting.
