In Nadda Notoon Bazaar area of the capital, a bus lost control and collided with another bus, breaking the road divider. Four passengers died in this incident. One of them died at the scene, while the other died later in hospital. Another 10 people were injured.
The deceased were identified as Laizu Begum, 38, of Bagerhat and her husband Kabir Jomadder, 47; Khushi Begum, 35, is also from Bagerhat; and Rabiul Islam, 22, from Mirzaganj, Patuakhali.
