Speaking at the media conference, the Minister of State said that the cyclone was crossing the coasts of Bangladesh and Myanmar. But the wind speed in the 78 kilometer radius of the cyclone is between 200 to 215 kilometers per hour. If the cyclone crosses the coast at this speed, there will be some damage.

Enamur Rahman said the government has made all preparations and about 8,500 people have taken shelter in 37 shelters in St. Martin. In addition, more than 200,000 people have taken shelter in 576 shelter centers in Cox’s Bazar and 500,000 in 1024 centers in Chattogram. Overall, the situation is under control, the Minister of State said.
