They rob Japanese tourists and leave on tour

According to the police, both these Japanese citizens had come to visit Bangladesh on 21 April. He had checked in at a hotel in Shukrabad area on 24 April.

On the same day at around 8:30 pm, he went to visit Rayer Bazar Bodhyo Bhoomi Memorial and Cemetery. It was around 9:00 pm when the tourists got lost and could not find their way out.

Then three youths took them on the wrong way and took them to a deserted place. Later, by threatening by showing weapons, snatched everything from them. Thereafter, both the victims returned to the hotel and informed the hotel manager about the incident the next day.

Mrityunjay De, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADC) of the Mohammadpur range, told Pratham Aalo that the hotel manager had informed the police at the Mohammadpur police station about the robbery.

In this incident, the manager, being a litigant, had filed the case. After investigation of the incident, the robbers have been arrested. According to preliminary information, all the three arrested are professional robbers.
