TIB report criticized by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Arafat

Arafat said that this was a hugely flawed research report because he did not even tell how many polling stations or booths were visited for research.
He said that there are 42,350 polling centers and 2,61,565 polling booths across the country.

The TIB did not mention how many booths such discrepancies occurred, he said, rather they reached their conclusions based on the opinion of the people of 51 per cent of the constituencies and not the opinion of the voters at the booths.

“It is not possible to reach any conclusion with the manner in which the TIB has followed and it would not be acceptable to any international forum,” he said.
Arafat said that the people who conducted the research had no experience in opinion polling or political science. He said that the so-called research has crossed the limits of scientific method.
