The government is about to launch a Tk 45 crore project within this financial year to improve living standards of the underprivileged and poverty-stricken people in 14 districts.
The announcement came at the monthly Annual Development Programme review meeting of local government and rural development and co-operatives (LGRD) ministry at the ministry’s conference room, a press release said.
A Tk 8 crore project, currently under process, is set to improve living standards of Garo people in Tangail, Netrokona, Mymensingh and Sherpur districts, speakers at the meeting said
