Tourism industry in Bangladesh is not proliferating in as much as it should be.
However, tourism education can play a significant role in creating jobs in tourism sector and help reducing poverty in the country. This theme was told by Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister GM Quader on Sunday while addressing a seminar on this issue.
The seminar was organized by Southern University Bangladesh (SUB)
VC of SUB was in the chair and Tourism Secretary Dr Gowranga Chandra Mohant was also present on the occasion.
The speakers also said about the importance of the expansion of the tourism industry.
