Traffic jam inDhakacity costs a lot of working-hours and this cost is about 20 thousand crore taka. For passengers this is about 12 thousand crore taka. For business and Export this is about 4 thousand crore taka.
This is disclosed in a round table workshop in Engineers institution ofBangladesh. The title of the workshop was “Cost of Traffic Congestion inDhakaCityand Its implication on business”. The experts disclosed such an important matter of national loss.
