He said that Inspectors of DIFE and DoL, MoSW, MOWCA, MOPME, other line ministries, CSOs and community level front-line officials within or related to the society’s jurisdiction will implement it.
About 40 officials from Ministry of Labor and Employment, Department of Inspection of Factories and Establishments, Labor Department, Social Welfare Department, Department of Women Affairs, other concerned departments, UNICEF and NGO representatives were present in the workshop.
The workshop addressed the identified challenges by developing the capacity of inspectors and lead practitioners on child protection in line with the Children Act 2013 and protecting children through the development of facility guidelines for master and core trainers on eliminating child labour.
