Two former Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders Shamsher Mubin Chowdhury and Taimur Alam Khondokar have been elected as the president and general secretary of Trinamool BNP respectively.
Besides, Antara Selima Hooda, daughter of Trinamool BNP founding chief and former BNP leader Nazmul Hooda, has been elected as its working president.
The party held its first council on Tuesday at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium in Dhaka, where a 27-member committee was partly formed.
