President Donald Trump on Thursday ruled out attacking Iran with a nuclear weapon, following up on his previous threats to completely destroy Iranian civilization.
“No, I would not use it,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
“Why would I use nuclear weapons when we have destroyed them without it in a very conventional way?” he asked.
“Nuclear weapons should never be allowed to be used by anyone.”
On April 7, Trump threatened Iran with a genocide that “the entire civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back”, but within hours he agreed to a ceasefire which he escalated into a war initiated by the United States and Israel.
