Miscreants set fire to two buses in Maniknagar area of the capital on Wednesday evening amid the 10th blockade called by BNP and other opposition parties.
The incident took place at Maniknagar intersection around 5 pm. However, it did not cause any casualties.
Fire Service and Civil Defense media cell officer Anwarul Islam said two Ekushey Paribahan coaches were standing there when the fire incident occurred and there were no passengers in them. On information, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
