Mohammad Nizamuddin said, “Supporters of another mayoral candidate Tehseen Bahar (Bas) are blocking voters at various places and attacking our supporters. Our supporters were shot at Munshi M Ali High School polling booth in Ward 19 and are hospitalized.
Locals said a leader of the Cumilla city unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra League opened fire on Zahirul Ahmed and Tuhin at the city's Munshi M Ali High School polling station at around 10:00 am, and locals took the injured to Cumilla Medical College Hospital .
