A Dhaka court has sentenced two men to death for raping two girls aged 6 and 7 in Mirpur’s Pirerbagh in 2021.
Judge Mafroza Parveen of Dhaka’s Women and Child Prevention Tribunal-8, handed down the verdict on Sunday, imposing a fine of Taka 1 lakh each on Mohd Fazlu, 32, and Mohd Zahirul Islam, 54.
He lured children to a rickshaw garage with chocolates and the promise of a ride on May 21, 2021.
