Two police members were injured when law enforcers tried to disperse a procession led by the Rajshahi Shahi Jamaat and its student union Shibir.
A protest procession was taken out from Naya Bazar area of the city at 2 pm on Tuesday, demanding the release of the central emir of the Jamaat. After some time the incident of attack happened.
The two injured policemen are sub-inspector Abu Haider and constable Ahad of Boliya police station in Rajshahi town. He has got first aid.
