The dead included Nafees (16) and Maroof (15). Both died on the way to the hospital. He was later declared brought dead by doctors at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
Baupal police station in-charge Al Mamoon said that on receiving the information, the police was sent to the hospital. “Several policemen including me are deployed at the spot. Efforts are on to arrest the attackers.”
Anwar Hussain Bachchu, president of the local union council, said he heard the news. Two students, Nafees and Maroof, died on the way to a hospital in Barishal. Injured student Siam (15) is undergoing treatment at Boufal Hospital.
