Tyne Ferguson scored late for Brighton in a 2-2 draw with Leicester

That miss was punished in the 63rd minute as Barnes hit the far post to put Leicester 2–1 ahead and seal a much-needed victory.

However, Irish 18-year-old Ferguson, who had come on for Danny in the 66th minute, had other ideas, heading home for Seagull in the 88th minute to grab a share of the points.

Ferguson told the BBC, “The way we play, we always have a chance to win… We always believe, so there was never a moment where we felt the game was lost and we had There’s always a chance to fight.”

The result leaves Brighton in sixth place in the table with 31 points, two behind fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and seven behind fourth-placed Newcastle United. Leicester is at 14th position with 18 points.

“We have to put a marker down for the rest of the season in terms of our fighting and mentality,” Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers told the BBC.
