Mahmood briefed the Secretary General about the free, fair and peaceful elections held in Bangladesh recently with people’s participation.
The External Affairs Minister is leading the Bangladesh delegation to the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the 3rd South Summit of the G-77 and China in Kampala, Uganda.
The minister is accompanied by Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, Bangladesh’s Permanent Representative to the UN Muhammad A Muhith and Bangladesh’s High Commissioner to Kenya and Uganda Tariq Muhammad, among others.
