Bangladesh will face United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the final of the Youth Asia Cup on Sunday. UAE confirmed its place in the final by defeating Pakistan Under-19 team by 11 runs in the second semi-final today.
Ariful got full support from Ahrar Amin and they brought the team closer to victory by making a partnership of 138 runs for the fourth wicket.
As he approached his century, medium pace bowler Raj Limbani got Ariful caught by Shahran, denying him the century by six runs. However, Ariful, who by then hit nine fours and four sixes including three sixes in one over from Soumya Pandey, maintained the team’s lead.
