In response to a question, he said that this agreement is not favorable to the interests of Bangladesh and if Bangladesh wants, it can cancel it. Will Bangladesh move towards canceling the agreement? The Commerce Minister did not give any direct answer.

Khandakar Abdul Muktadir said, “The clear answer to your question is that this government is a government elected by the people. We represent the people of the country. Like all agreements, this agreement also includes a ‘self-improvement element’.”

He said, “If at any time we feel that any clause or clause of this agreement is not in favor of Bangladesh, there is an opportunity within the agreement to amend them. Therefore, I request you not to be concerned about that.”
